Ducktivity provided by Duck® Brand
It’s time to duck the halls! Use duct tape to create a truly unique holiday wreath. This advanced Ducktivity is meant for intermediate to advanced duct tape crafters.
Advanced
1.5 - 2 Hours
Cut 8, 4 inch pieces of wire and apply glue to both ends. Stick each piece of wire (with the glue applied) into the foam balls to hold them in a circular shape.
While you're waiting for the glue to dry, you can make the bow for the wreath. Lay out 3 strips of chrome duct tape, each measuring about 12 inches. Back those strips with electric blue duct tape and trim the sides if necessary. These will make the bulk of your bow. Fold the ends of the strips into the middle and tape in place. Do this for all 3, 12-inch strips, and then tape them all in place on the back of the bow. Once your bow is completed, tape it to the top of your wreath.
Next, create out 2 more strips of chrome, this time each measuring about 16 inches, and back these with electric blue as well. Trim the sides if necessary, and then cut the ends to look like ribbons. Tape the ends of the 16 inches pieces behind the bow, and run them along the sides of the wreath, taping them in the spaces as you go. This will give the ribbons a cascading effect.
Tape a wire or pipe cleaner, bent in half, to the back top-back. This will allow you to hang your wreath.
