How to Make a Duct Tape Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon

Show your support of breast cancer research year-round by hand-crafting a breast cancer awareness pink ribbon for yourself and your family and friends. Follow these instructions to learn how.

Directions

Step 1

Cut a 12-inch strip of Funky Flamingo® Duck Tape® brand duct tape.

Step 2

Carefully fold the strip lengthwise, sticky side to sticky side, to create a double-sided strip.

Step 3

Trim off sticky edges.

Step 4

Lay the right side of the ribbon (double-sided strip) over the left side, creating a loop at the top.

Step 5

Secure the ribbon together by placing a small piece of duct tape between the pieces.

Step 6

Cut the ends of the ribbon at a 45-degree angle.

Step 7

Use a straight or safety pin to attach the ribbon to your clothes, bag, etc.

Whoever made this tried to make two strips of tape seem fun by making it represent breast cancer awareness.

wow... seriously?!?! all you have to do is take a long strip and fold it in half and shape it! ROTFLMFAO!!! this is SOO stupid!

This is a very nice idea.

I really do like this.

The cool thing about this is there is diffrent color ribbons for diffrent diseases. I made a blue one to prevent child abuse!

It's really cool. I made it for my Mom who was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was very simple, but I am A duct tape pro! :D

you know instead of using a small piece of tape to hold the thing together you could use magnets so then it would come together and apart when it need to

my mom is a breast cancer survivor, and we have a cancer support group for people who's lives have been touched by cancer, and I think yhis would be the perfect craft to make at our next support group meeting! =D~

This would be really fun to make plus raise awareness of breast cancer.

It looks simple but it is clean looking and bright I did a sale on my duct-tape stuff and donated 25% of everything i made to find a cure for breast canser and everyone bought thanks to my duct-tape breast canser symbol -love it

I have 2 friends who have been touched by Breast Cancer and my Grandma Alesia has Carcinoid, and this is the perfect way to show your support. Carcinoid Cancer is Black/White white, so there is some Zebra Duck Brand Duct Tape in me and my friends' future.

i would give it 100 stars but sadly i can't my gmother got breast cancer and got effectied by one round of kemo.practicly all my close church friends got breast cancer. i LOVE THE IDEA KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!!!!

This was very easy, didn't take up too much duct tape, and is for a good cause. wonderful craft. I put a magnet on it and stuck it to my locker!

My uncle has very bad cancer and the doctor said he would only probably live a few more weeks.Because my ribbon is made of a dark tie-die duct tape I think I might where it to the funeral.It was also really fun.

I made my own version of this. I am going to try and sell them and donate some of the money to Breast Cancer Awareness Research!!!!

This is waaaaay too easy. A baby could make this. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STUPID!!!!! What a BABY is duckbrand. Or should I say duckbutt. I am a pro at ducktape and I could make this with my eyes closed. (That is the key word for WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too easy!! A person with as half brain could figure that out with her/his eyes closed. DUH,DUH,DUH,DUH,DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
