Duck Tape IPod Touch Pouch

Ducktivity provided by GryffindorGirl07

i made this when i didn't have a case to protect my IPod when i was worried it would scratch. You can use three colors like me or you can use one or even use colored tape. I also sometimes use clear tape to make it strong and shiny. I used an elastic band to go around the pouch and to keep the flap in place to keep my IPod from falling out. Hope you like it!

Supplies and Tools
  • 3 colours of duct tape
  • scissors
  • 1 elastic band

Directions

Step 1

Cut 3 strips of tape (same color for all of them) about 24cm long each.

Step 10

Add any details or do any necessary trimming to your case. And enjoy!

Step 2

Overlap the strips so that they are back to back and create one strip of tape

Step 3

Fold the sticky sides onto themselves so no sticky parys are showing. Now you have one long strip of non-sticky tape.

Step 4

Fold your new strip of tape width-wise si it is only 12cm long now.

Step 5

Cut 2 pieces of tape the same length as your pouch(12 cm). These will be the sides.

Step 6

Connect these two strips to both sides of tour strip. This will create the pouch.

Step 7

Cut 4 strips of tape the same length as the width of your pouch and overlap them as you did in step 2. Leave one of the sticky sides alone, though.

Step 8

Stick the strip onto the mouth of your pouch to create the flap using the sticky side you left alone to attach it.

Step 9

Attach an elastic band to the inside of the flap. Make sure that the elastic fits snugly around the pouch when you pull over the outside of it (keeping in mind that you still have the thickness of your IPod). Secure it with more duck tape.
