How to Make a Duct Tape Bookmark

Never lose your spot again after you make a fun and personalized duct tape bookmark. Just follow the steps below.

Directions
Step 1
Duck® brand duct tape
Scissors
Ruler or measuring tape
Single hole puncher (optional)**
String or ribbon (optional)**
Step 2
Choose your favorite color of duct tape and cut two strips each measuring five inches in length. Lay one on your work surface sticky side up. Lay the other strip directly on top sticky side down to create a double-sided strip.
Step 3
Trim off sticky edges and round the corner of the bookmark if so desired.
**For additional decorations:
Step 4
Use a hole puncher to punch a hole at the top of the bookmark. Be careful not to make it too close to the top edge.
Step 5
Loop string or ribbon through the hole to make a decoration for the top of the bookmark.
Step 6
Decorate your bookmark with favorite colors and designs!

This could be very useful! I'm always ripping my bookmarks! And I wouln't lose it with all those "slap you in the face" colors1 Lol

When people borrow books from me they know it's mine because of the duct tape bookmarks. Most of my books have one or two stuck in them. Some even cut into shapes (if the book was boring that day).

This is so cute!!! vulture_ducktape_stuff:how is this pointless? it's a BOOKMARK that can be customized and you don't have to go out and buy one.you could make more than a dozen of these in one roll!
