A Quick Way to Keep Sports Equipment Organized in Your Garage
When it comes time to clean and organize around the home, the garage is usually the last room that comes to mind. Abby, from Abby Organizes, shares how to keep sports equipment organized in the garage.
Abby achieved this by using Duck® Brand EasyMounts™ Heavy-Duty Drywall Hooks. Only EasyMounts™ brings you the convenience of adhesive with the security of pins to hold 50 lb. of weight without the use of tools. Everything you need is right in the package with easy-to-follow instructions — just stick, pin & slide. Install in drywall in seconds and get organizing. A built-in bubble level helps ensure you're hanging the product perfectly straight. Plus, the entire system is completely removable and only three pin holes remain, which is much less damage than wall anchors or adhesive hanger mishaps. Tool-free and easy to install, EasyMounts™ lets you to ditch the toolbox and get your mind out of the clutter.
Getting Started
For this project, Abby decided she was going to tackle her family's pickleball equipment. First, she measured a wall in her garage where she wanted the equipment to be placed and used a pencil to mark the planned placement of the hooks. She then installed the Duck® Brand EasyMounts™ Heavy-Duty Drywall Hooks with the easy-to-follow instructions — just stick, pin & slide.
Finishing Up
From there, she hung the sports equipment on the hooks. Abby placed the ball hoppers up high and used wall bins to hold the tennis racquets and pickleball paddles on the lower hooks. If children will be using the gear, it’s helpful to make sure it hangs at a height that they can reach so they can access it themselves.
