For this project you’ll need: a drill, hacksaw, screwdriver and tape measure
- Measure the width of your door with a tape measurer. If your door is less than 36 inches wide, cut the door sweep to size with a hack saw.
- Place the door sweep against the inside of your closed door, with the vinyl seal touching the threshold. Then, using the sweep as a guide, mark the hole locations on your door.
- Next, drill 1/8 inch holes as marked on your door. Screw the door sweep in place with the screws provided.
- Finally, check to make sure there are no gaps between the door sweep and door threshold.
